Accelerating introduction of digital technologies into Latvian market

Just two years ago, with an impressive presentation at the IT&T 2001 exhibition, the very first Sony digital cinema editing suite was introduced in Latvia. However, even now, Sony CineAlta technology is rather exclusive in the Baltic States and is not affordable for a wide range of producers.
Today we are honoured to announce that professional digital technologies continue to develop in Latvia and have become much more affordable. Thanks to a successful cooperation between Hannu Pro and Ile Films, the customer has already received a Digital Betacam camcorder DVW-707 - the very first in Latvia - for shooting professional video clips and video films that are compatible with contemporary broadcast standards.
The Sony DVW-707 was supplied fully equipped with appropriate Canon optics, Pag and Miller accessories and is ready for creative and productive work.
This significant event finally paves the way for the eventual phasing-out of ageing analogue equipment and the change over to the most advanced Digital Betacam technologies.
