Luxembourg based BCE (Broadcasting Center Europe), one of Europe's leading system integrators, and an RTL Group company, recently selected Hannu Pro for a strategic partnership in the development of the new MTG (Modern Times Group) play-out centre in Riga. BCE made their choice based on the long term experience of Hannu Pro in working on similar projects in the Baltic States, in addition to well developed service and skilled service personnel. Hannu Pro will install cables and part of playout systems and equipment, and will also provide specialized furniture and partial equipment supplies. Modern Times Group's newly established Viasat play-out centre is the biggest play-out project currently being implemented in Europe; it will provide management and play-out for up to 32 TV channels (TV3, 3+, TV6 and other programmes) and, when it is fully functional, will employ 120 people. MTG is the largest pay and free TV broadcaster in Scandinavia, the Baltic States and is also a shareholder of the largest independent broadcast network in Russia. MTG's TV channels have 125 million viewers.
